here are a couple of illustrations I made for the cover of the flagpole. It was during the start of the school year so the theme was "back to school". The first illustration is a typical elementary classroom from the 60s and the second is a typical classroom from the not too distant future. The colors look pretty crazy on a the internet. They didn't print that bright.

this is the first page ive inked for a new comic im working. Its about some cats that live in a cemetery. the cemetery is based on a place i visited many times in Argentina called Cementerio Recoleta. It was full of stray cats.

jury duty

I have a weekly comic in "The Flagpole" which is the local newspaper here in athens. The comic is mostly about living in athens and random things that happen to me every week.

i got picked for jury duty last week.

Im going to be at a comic book convention in Charlotte North Carolina this weekend. its mostly superhero comic stuff but there is a section called Indie Island. This is a mask I made recently as a Christmas present for someone. It is made of paper mache, a wicker basket, some Styrofoam, some house paint, and red yarn. Its supposed to be a man with birds in his beard.

Their little beaks are poking out... SO CUTE!
